A New Beginning.

I've just signed the contract to deliver two Inspector Danilov books to Carina UK, a division of Harlequin Books. Set in 1920s Shanghai, the first novel in the series is called 'City of Shadows'.  The body of a dead blonde is found on the 'Beach of Dead Babies'.  Danilov is called in to investigate but he faces obstruction from his colleagues in the Shanghai Police as well as problems of his own;  the separation of his family when they were forced to flee Russia.

As the murders mount, Danilov is in a race against time to find the killer, fighting both the devil that is stalking the streets and his own personal demons
